Give your customers a reason to share content

Today, companies are beginning to treat social media as an integrated element of their marketing and public relations strategies rather than just on its own.

Mashable has provided some creative tips on how to motivate consumers to socially engage with your business on social media.

Reward consumers when they share more.
Create campaigns in which an incentive is created around your customers gaining better deals (i.e. save more, win something etc.) if they share more content among themselves.

Give your consumers something exclusive.
What better way to motivate consumers than by offering them the chance to receive something that is either unique or exclusive – we all like being treated to something special every once in a while.

Appeal to their altruism.
Most people are good natured and will help out – especially if you make it easy for them to. Getting your consumers involved will show them that you care about what they do and how they feel about your brand.

Whatever methods you choose to adopt, be sure to include some social element to your strategies and campaigns. Give your consumers compelling reasons to share and engage in your content and in turn you will increase your social media ROI.
